Louisiana Web site posts hospital prices
E-Health Trend Watch, July 14, 2006
The Louisiana Hospital Association has launched a Web site to help inform consumers about hospital pricing, quality, and service information. The Louisiana Hospital Inform Web site includes pricing data on common Medicare inpatient and outpatient services, quality data on surgical infections, and the most common causes of hospitalization. The site also includes information about demographics, services, and contact numbers for hospitals.
