E-Health Trend Watch, July 14, 2006
HealthNewsReview.org has started reviewing newspaper and magazine health coverage online. The site is free and open to consumers. Minnesota journalism professor Gary Schwitzer created the site and others like it in Australia and Canada. A team of 20 reviewers will monitor top newspapers, magazines, and other media outlets and rate their coverage of health issues using a scale of one to five stars. Reviewers will also post comments.
