Antipsychotic drug market to decrease by $5 billion by 2015

The antipsychotic drug market will fall from $15 billion in 2006 to a little over $10 billion in 2015, according to figures released by the Waltham, MA-based healthcare research and advisory firm Decision Resources, Inc. The sharp decrease will be due to generic erosion, reimbursement constraints, and the lack of groundbreaking emerging therapies, according to a company release.
