Study shows word-of-mouth spreading
Healthcare Strategist Trend Watch, June 27, 2006
A recent study by the New York City-based market consultant GfK Roper Consulting showed that 70% of consumers worldwide find friends, family, or other people the most "trustworthy" source when searching for information or ideas on products to buy.
"Accessing the word-of-mouth network is no longer optional," GfK Roper Consulting Vice President Hetty Fore said in a statement. "Success will be dependent on using this channel wisely."
