CIGNA launches physician webVisits
E-Health Trend Watch, June 23, 2006
CIGNA Healthcare and RelayHealth Corporation have announced that they will offer CIGNA members access to virtual house calls for non-urgent health issues. The service will begin July 2006. Select members will be able to use web-based physician communication services, including online doctor's visits (called webVisits), prescription refills and renewals, lab results review, and appointment scheduling.
