Web site makes cancer data accessible to Asians
E-Health Trend Watch, June 16, 2006
Cancer prevention, screening, and treatment information has been translated into various Asian languages on a database known as The Asian Pacific Islander Cancer Education Material Web portal. The catalog of information was made possible by cooperation from The American Cancer Society and the Asian American Network for Cancer Awareness, Research, and Training.
The tool provides links to sites that have Asian or Pacific Islander education materials on their sites. The materials have been screened for medical accuracy and cultural relevance.
