Misys Healthcare Systems partners with InstantDx to offer e-prescribing solution

Misys Healthcare Systems has partnered with InstantDx to provide a secure way to write electronic prescriptions using Internet-connected devices. The partnership provides physicians with a Web-based e-prescribing offering called OnCallData. The product allows providers to write prescriptions and approve refills to all pharmacies within seconds. It claims to save practices and their staff up to three hours a day. Physicians can also use the product to check for drug interactions, eligibility, formulary information, and medication usage.
