Aetna gives nonparticipating healthcare providers access to site
E-Health Trend Watch, May 26, 2006
Healthcare providers who do not participate in Aetna's network can now register to use the company's Web site to submit claims, check claim status, verify benefits, view payment and billing policies, enter precertifications and referrals, and access clinical policy bulletins. The move is part of the company's ongoing steps to make business easier for healthcare professionals who care for Aetna members by providing information and resources available on Aetna's secure Web site for healthcare professionals.
