FASA separates into two entities
Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, May 23, 2006
The Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association (FASA) divided into two distinct legal entities on May 21, according to FASA's newsletter, FASA Update.
The first entity, FASA Inc., will "focus on advocating for ambulatory surgery and providing services to its members," according to an article written by Jack Egnatinsky, MD, president of FASA, in FASA Update.
The second entity, the Foundation for Ambulatory Surgery in America, will "conduct educational programs and research activities to promote high-quality ambulatory surgery and topnotch patient care," Egnatinsky wrote.
