ACP urges reimbursement for e-medicine and IT
E-Health Trend Watch, May 12, 2006
The American College of Physicians is proposing that the federal government change the payment system to reward primary care physicians for coordinating chronic care and providing disease management services. The group also called for increased payments to doctors who create certified advanced medical homes to provide patients with coordinated care.
