Web users spend as much time online as watching TV
E-Health Trend Watch, May 12, 2006
A JupiterResearch study found that average online consumers spend 14 hours per week online, which is as much time as they spend watching television. According to the study, radio, magazines, and books are also losing consumers to the Internet. It is important for multichannel marketers to be aware of the shift so they can increase their online advertising budget and tailor their online strategy to the needs and preferences of Web users.
