Bill includes funds for telehealth
E-Health Trend Watch, April 21, 2006
A bill signed by President Bush includes a provision that would increase the overall budget for the Office for the Advancement of Telehealth by about $3 million. The office is an offshoot of the Health Resources and Services Administration. The office could use the funds to support long-distance clinical healthcare, patient and professional health-related education, public health, and health administration efforts.
