E-Health Trend Watch, April 14, 2006
ZivaContinuum, parent company of the Web-based resource ZivaGuide, has signed an agreement with The ALS Association (ALSA) to offer free healthcare information to ALSA's various audiences. The ALSA mission is to find a cure for and improve living with ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease. Up to 50,000 people can register on ALSA's national Web site to obtain a two-year subscription at no cost.
The Web site allows users to create and update profiles and address issues concerning medical conditions, medications, and healthcare planning. ZivaGuide also provides users with personalized and customized information about local physicians, providers, and community resources.
