Stun gun used on 92-year-old SNF resident

Deputies from the Pasco County Sheriff's office used a stun gun to subdue a 92-year-old nursing home resident in Hudson, FL, after the man allegedly used an aluminum cane to beat his roommate, according to a report by the Local 6 News station. The roommate was taken to the hospital with trauma to his head and face, and the resident later attempted to strike a staff member, according to the news report. Deputies took the man into custody after the April 6 incident, deeming the resident a threat to himself and others.
