Women's specialty clinic opens in California
Rehab Private Practice Alert, March 22, 2006
Womanology, a specialized physical therapy clinic for women, opened this week in Irvine, CA.
The clinic, founded by Robin Christenson, PT, says its purpose is to help women live pain free, and all its therapists are trained to aid in common conditions specific to females.
Biofeedback, manual trigger point therapy, Pilates, relaxation techniques, and massages are all common treatments at Womanology, according to Christenson.
Some of the areas the clinic will specialize in treating are tailbone pain, breast implant adhesions, interstitial cystitis, post-gynecologic surgery scarring, and painful intercourse.
