E-Health Trend Watch, February 24, 2006
According to statistics, if smokers try to quit cold turkey, their chances of success are slim, but with support, chances are that they'll quit for good. More than 1 million smokers each year turn to QuitNet for advice on tobacco cessation. QuitNet offers a free Web service where smokers and ex-smokers fight tobacco addiction. The "Q" is an online community that can be used to get help 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
