Pennsylvania eHealth Initiative names board members
E-Health Trend Watch, March 17, 2006
The Pennsylvania eHealth Initiative has announced the names of individuals who will serve on its board of directors. The initiative is comprised of a group of more than 40 healthcare-related organizations working to create an electronic patient data network. Serving as board officers will be Chair Martin Ciccocioppo, vice president of research at the Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg; Vice Chair Mark Jacobs, director of information technology at Wellspan Health in York; Secretary Dan Jones, chief operations officer at Quality Insights of Pennsylvania in Wayne; and Treasurer Tom Tabor, senior vice president and chief information officer at Highmark, Inc., in Pittsburgh.
