Web strategy: Technology trends will drive marketing in 2006
Healthcare Strategist Trend Watch, March 31, 2006
The latest trends to impact online healthcare marketing include an increase in the use of search engines to find medical information, an explosion in the number of broadband Internet connections, and the increasing popularity of so-called "alternative media," such as online videos, blogs, and Podcasts, according to a report by Manhattan Research, a healthcare marketing firm based in New York City.
These and other trends will revolutionize the way that consumers and physicians use the Web, says the report, which was based on research conducted in the U.S. and in Europe over the past 10 years.
