Three medical groups receive AMGA award

The American Medical Group Association (AMGA) presented three medical groups with its annual Medical Group Preeminence Award during its 2006 annual conference, which was held March 15-18 in San Antonio, TX.
The award is presented annually to AMGA member groups for exceptional leadership, innovation and vision, contributions to the advancement of quality, effective healthcare delivery practices, and outstanding contributions to the local community in which the group is located.
This years winners were Aurora Medical Group from Milwaukee, WI, Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, LA, and The Permanente Medical Group in Oakland, CA.
