Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, March 21, 2006
Congresswoman Nancy Johnson (R-CT) was scheduled to tour the Endoscopy Center of Northwest Connecticut yesterday, according to a press release from the Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association (FASA).
The Endoscopy Center is one of 36 ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) in the state.
"Rep. Johnson's tour will give the chairwoman of the U.S. House of Representatives' Health Subcommittee an opportunity to see first hand the growing popularity of ASCs among doctors and patients alike," according to the press release.
