Security gets into shoving match with strikers
Healthcare Security Weekly, February 27, 2006
Hospital security officers from Stamford (CT) Hospital got involved in a skirmish with several union strikers last week, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Police are investigating the incident and are considering filing assault and trespassing charges.
The incident occurred after several picketing workers crossed the picket lines to confront a delivery truck.
Hospital security attempted to break up the crowd when one of the union representatives shoved an officer. Police quickly separated the two parties without further incident.
