AMA develops 100,000 Lives materials
The American Medical Association (AMA), a strategic partner with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's 100,000 Lives Campaign, has developed educational materials to help physicians get their hospitals involved in the campaign.
The 100,000 Lives campaign directly supports the AMA's "Making Strides in Safety" campaign, which promotes the clinical quality improvement and patient safety elements of the association's 2005 advocacy agenda, according to an AMA statement.
