Missouri updates Medicare-covered ASC list
Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, November 15, 2005
Missouri's Division of Medical Services announced last month the addition and deletion of codes from the state's list of Medicare-covered ambulatory surgery center procedures.
The changes reflect updates to the list of covered procedures determined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and published in the May 4, 2005 Federal Register.
The changes are effective for services performed on or after November 1, 2005.
