FASA relief center to assist hurricane victims
Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, October 11, 2005
The Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association (FASA) has established an online relief center to assist victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita who work in the ambulatory surgery industry.
Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) workers displaced by the hurricanes can post their resumes online with a "red cross" icon next to the resume indicating they are hurricane victims.
They can also search classified ads in which surgery centers indicate that they are interested in hiring evacuees or displaced workers.
For ASCs interested in hiring victims, there is also a link to view posted resumes.
