Tracers: An effective tool to protect against infection, JCAHO surveyors

The one thing worse than learning that your staff don't comply with certain IC measures is when a JCAHO surveyor breaks the news first. That's why some hospital officials believe it's a smart move to simulate tracers in their facilities to get a feel for what areas need the most improvement in anticipation of a JCAHO visit.
