Connecticut physicians sue Oxford Health

Four Connecticut physicians are suing Oxford Health Plans, claiming that the company violated unfair trade and insurance practices laws.
Oxford was recently acquired by UnitedHealth, and merged its physician networks in July.
The Hartford Courant reports that the physicians' suit claims that Oxford is "using the combined economic muscle created by their recent merger to extract significant financial concessions from physicians and impose Herculean administrative burdens upon them."
