HHS provides NPI instructional tool
Infection Control Monitor, June 13, 2005
May 23rd brought the beginning of the National Provider Identifiers (NPI) application process and along with it, many questions. And HHS is hoping to answer some of those questions with a viewlet it distributed recently.
The instructional tool provides an overview of the NPI, a walkthrough of the application, as well as live links to the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System Web site, where organizations can apply for an NPI. This tool is designed for all healthcare providers.
Click here to access the viewlet.
