OK car thief was living at hospital
Healthcare Security Weekly, June 27, 2005
Oklahoma City police arrested a man who is a suspect in auto burglaries at three area hospitals, reports ChannelOklahoma.com.
Police say Michael Pike stole keys and vehicles at Southwest Medical Center, Integris Baptist Medical Center, and Deaconess Hospital, where he had been showering and possibly staying for nearly a month.
Officers saw him on surveillance at one of the facilities and say he approached attendants in the hotel areas of the hospitals and distracted them while stealing their keys.
Pike allegedly stole two cars and parked them at hospital parking garages.
