ReadMyChart.com looking to expand record program
EHR Connection, April 4, 2005
Jere Dixon, former owner of medical records storage firm ProMed Systems, which he sold to WebMD, developed ReadMyChart.com, a HIPAA-compliant Web site that stores medical information for patients for $29.95 per person per year. Dixon says the new business is looking for private and corporate partners to help expand the program.
Patients attach a membership sticker to their driver's licenses to alert medics that personal health information can be found at ReadMyChart.com.
