AMA releases pay-for-performance guidelines
Quality Improvement Monitor, March 10, 2005
The American Medical Association (AMA) on March 2 released a new set of pay-for-performance principles to help guide the formation of incentive-based reimbursement programs.
Pay-for-performance programs must include the following five principles, the AMA said:
