MARBLEHEAD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 17, 2005--HCPro today announced its first acquisition of 2005, and its fifth in last 12 months, with the purchase of Medical Environment, Inc., a health and safety training company in Boulder, CO.

Medical Environment publishes a monthly newsletter for physician practices, ambulatory settings, and long-term care facilities, a loose-leaf binder service, and a line of health and safety training videos.

Publisher and owner George "Buzz" Hunt, who started his business as a safety consulting firm in 1971, opened Medical Environment in 1989. Since then, his company's offerings have grown from one newsletter to 23 different products.

"Mr. Hunt has become a trusted source of health and safety information for facilities all across the country," Guzowski said. "We're delighted to be able to continue serving the safety needs of healthcare professionals, who have come to count on the excellent training tools produced by Mr. Hunt and his team."
