eHealth Initiative Foundation to help state HIT adoption

The eHealth Initiative Foundation launched a plan to assist states' organization and adoption of HIT, TechnologyDaily reports. The foundation began work with New York to publicize federal policies, uncover state laws that could impede adoption, and identify investment opportunities.
The initiative will focus on supporting stakeholder investment in HIT and establishing state public policy goals through public and private partnerships at the state and local levels, TechnologyDaily reports.
