ALF settles lawsuit over unpaid refunds

A Huntington, WV assisted living facility has settled a lawsuit with the state alleging non-payment of refunds promised to resident's families, reported the Associated Press. According to Attorney General Darrell McGraw, Regency Park Assisted Living Residences had promised to pay back residents' families for advance-pay services if the resident died during the period the payment covered. The settlement has Regency Park agreeing to refund any complaint approved by the Attorney General's office by Jan, 21, 2005, according to AP.
