Fox checks in for hospital visit

A fox tried to sneak into Southern Main Medical Center in Biddeford, ME, last week, the Associated Press (AP) reported.
The fox was approaching people and lurking around the hospital entrance. Hospital security tried to lure the fox into the woods, hospital spokeswoman Sue Hadiaris told the AP.
The hospital called the local police, who hit the fox on the head with a metal instrument, and killed it, Hadiaris said.
