Kaiser Permanente adds web-based wellness tools for members

Kaiser Permanente has added a series of Web-based wellness tools for members, including online behavior-change programs, health calculators, online drug and medical encyclopedias, prescription refill options, and more. The modules comprising the Kaiser Permanente Healthy Lifestyle Programs include weight management and fitness, smoking cessation, stress reduction, and nutrition.
The site provides personalized strategies for reaching health goals with a customized action plan and coaching via e-mail. Kaiser Permanente members can also request routine appointments and contact healthcare professionals online.
