Don’t forget to check the videotape

When your hospital conducts an infant abduction drill, don't forget to test your surveillance equipment, recommends Steve MacArthur, safety consultant for The Greeley Company in Marblehead, MA.
There's nothing more embarrassing than an incident where you have cameras, but don't capture anything, MacArthur says.
During drills, check your video surveillance equipment to ensure it captures clear images and is set to appropriate angles.
