Yale receives EHR grant

The Agency for Healthcare Quality and Research awarded Yale University $1.2 million in grant money to implement a shared EHR system for providers in primary care, school health, specialty care, and emergency medicine to improve care for children with asthma, the university reports.
The goal is to electronically capture and add clinical data from emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and clinic visits to patients' ambulatory health records, according to Yale.
