HHS to hold NHII hearings
EHR Connection, October 25, 2004
The National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics, an advisory body to the Department of Health and Human Services, plans to hold public hearings on a national health information infrastructure development.
The first hearing is scheduled for Nov. 12 in Washington, with the objective to gather personal health record information, key issues, and current methods, reports Health Data Management (HDM). Additional meetings will take place in 2005, according to HDM.
