Family feud erupts in hospital lobby
Healthcare Security Weekly, July 28, 2004
A family feud carried over into Rhode Island Hospital's lobby last week, the Pawtucket Times reports.
When police arrived, three men sat bleeding in the lobby. Brothers Erol Nuay, 36, and Ersel Nuay, 34, of North Attleboro and the alleged assailant uncle, George Blacksmith, 56, have been involved in past brawls leading to hospitalization, the Times reports.
Hospital security informed police that Blacksmith attacked the two brothers in the main lobby, at one point swinging a large yellow caution sign at the men, a witness said. All three men required medical attention.
Blacksmith faces charges of simple assault and domestic assault.
