NFPA proposes security standards
Healthcare Security Weekly, July 6, 2004
The National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) has proposed two standards concerning security for 2005.
Standards 730 and 731 would both affect hospital security. For more information and to view the proposals, visit www.nfpa.org/codes/drafts.asp
NFPA accepts comments on the proposals until October 2004. NFPA members will vote on the proposals at the June 2005 meeting in Las Vegas.
