CDC publishes full pneumonia guidelines
Infection Control Monitor, May 13, 2004
The CDC this month published its full revised guidelines for preventing healthcare-associated pneumonia, two months after first announcing the new document.
The 179-page document is available for download here:

In late March, the CDC replaced the decade-old version of the pneumonia document with new information about Legionnaires' disease, aspergillosis, and other related ailments. The new guidelines also include information for nonacute settings such as outpatient and long-term care facilities.
