AZ hospital loading dock full of pot
Healthcare Security Weekly, April 4, 2004
Two boxes worth of marijuana mysteriously ended up on Tucson's University Medical Center's loading dock last week, according to the Arizona Daily News.
The hospital's employees discovered the boxes that police estimate contain 54 pounds of marijuana. Hospital security reported the marijuana finding to police.
There are no arrests yet tied to the incident and police say they have no suspects. Staff reported two unidentified men dropping off the boxes early in the morning on March 19.
Where the boxes were headed is unclear at this time.
Despite the discovery, the hospital has no plans to increase security in the loading dock area.
