Healthcare Security Weekly, March 8, 2004
Detroit police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a credit union inside a Grosse Pointe hospital in January.
Police say on January 28, the two men robbed the METRO Credit Union on the lower level of Bon Secours Hospital in Grosse Pointe, according to Detroit's channel 4. One of the men was armed with a semi-automatic 9mm handgun, with which he used to strike a hospital security officer during the alarm. The men escaped through an underground parking garage.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Grosse Point City Detective Bureau are working to find the alleged robbers.
