Nonprofit unveils vaccine information service
Infection Control Monitor, February 26, 2004
A new Texas-based nonprofit corporation, Immunization for Public Health (IFPH), now hosts the National Network for Immunization Information (NNII), an affiliation of groups that provides up-to-date information about vaccines and immunization.
The group's Web site, http://www.immunizationinfo.org, includes new content targeted at health professionals, the media, and parents.
NNII reviews the latest research on vaccine safety and provides comprehensive summaries of hot topics in immunization. IFPH's director is Martin Myers, MD, former director of the Department of Health and Human Services National Vaccine Program Office.
