NEPA Awards
The Newsletter & Electronic Publishers Foundation, charitable arm of NEPA announced that HCPro won first-place of its annual Journalism Awards competition for Best Instructional Reporting-Strategies for Healthcare Compliance; second place in the "Best Spot News or Exclusive Single News Story" for its May 2002 case study "California hospital goes from drill to real-life disaster in minutes" in Healthcare Security & Emergency Management; honorable mention in "Best Single Topic Newsletter" for their special report about mass-casualty readiness plans in Healthcare Security and Emergency Management; and honorable mention in "Best Single Topic Newsletter" for Briefings on Coding Compliance Strategies.

Rob Stuart, HCPro, Inc. Vice President of Marketing was honored as "2003 Volunteer of the Year." During the past year, Rob has generously given his time, energy and expertise to NEPA. Winners, out of a field of 170 nominees, were introduced at the Newsletter & Electronic Publishers Association's Annual Conference, held June 1st in Washington, DC. NEPA was formed in 1977 as a non-profit international trade association dedicated to the interests of print and electronic publishers of newsletters and other specialized information.

EPPY Honor
HCPro, Inc. was also honored as an Eppy Award winner named one of top three Best Internet Shopping Service with less than 1 million monthly. The Eppy Awards identify and honor the best work in the Internet. The 2003 Eppy Awards were presented in San Diego in May 9th at the Interactive Media Conference and Trade Show sponsored by Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek magazines.
