Getting support from stakeholders might be the most daunting task that confronts an advocate of SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation), a technique used to deliver important information quickly and improve patient care. But once you have a commitment from key players, you’re ready to begin the most challenging part of SBAR implementation: making it work. Several issues intertwine in a successful SBAR system.
