LifeMasters, McKesson report success in Medicare, Medicaid programs

Although disease management’s foray into the Medicare fee-for-service arena through the Medicare Health Support program has not been deemed successful, individual vendors continue to show positive results in the Medicaid and Medicare-Medicaid dual-eligible arenas. Irvine, CA–based LifeMasters Supported Self Care, Inc., and Broomfield, CO–based McKesson Health Solutions recently reported strong results in programs in Florida and Pennsylvania.
