Murder charges filed in death of hospital security guard

A Springfield, MO, man has been charged with murder in the death of a hospital security guard who died after he was kicked in the head last month.
Prosecutors on September 16 filed upgraded charges of second-degree murder and felony murder against Jeffrey Bolden, 41, reported the Associated Press. He is accused of allegedly kicking Monte Ruby, a 62-year-old security officer, as the guard tried to restrain him at Cox North Hospital on August 2. Ruby died four days later of his injuries.
