Tip of the week: Conduct an annual evaluation

The lack of an annual management program or an annual program summary can get your hospital into survey trouble.
These two documents outline the entire security program. You might have the greatest security plan the surveyor has ever seen, but it won’t matter if you lack one or both of these documents. Make sure that the outline for these plans matches the format used for the other sections of the EC report to show surveyors that you are working on it with others in the facility.
