Healthcare Security Weekly, September 8, 2008
When it comes to emergency planning, Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA, got a reality test when it was forced to evacuate June 13 after floodwaters rose on its downtown campus following torrential rains.

To read more about the lessons learned from this disaster, go to www.hcpro.com/ppv-216676.html. The cost is $10. Briefings on Hospital Safety subscribers received this story with their subscriptions.
